Chris Wainwright
PROLOGUE

Chris Wainwright has undertaken numerous projects that have explored, through photography and the moving image, the implications of his presence in rural, urban, public and private spaces during the hours of darkness with his camera as an ever present recorder.

A key aspect of his work is a continuing preoccupation and exploration of light as a source of illumination, communication, invasion, erosion and surveillance.
